SETUP
Bets are collected from all players at the table, either through chips or cash. The dealer deals 2-cards per player from a 52-card deck, or a shoe of more than one deck. The dealer will finally deal himself two cards from the same deck or shoe.
GAMEPLAY
The round starts with the croupier accepting bets from all players at the table. Players will need to first make a basic bet in blackjack and add a Perfect Pairs bet to it. Once complete, all players will be dealt 2 cards from a standard deck or a shoe of multiple decks. Pairs are notified to the dealer and are paid out immediately.
TYPES OF PAIRS
PERFECT PAIR
A pair of identical cards. The cards match at face value and suit. For example, Q♥ Q♥.
COLOURED PAIR
A pair with the same face value and colored suits. For example 8♥ 8♦.
MIXED PAIR
A pair with identical face value but are of different suits. For example, 3♣ 3♦.
PAYOUT RULES
- Perfect pairs pay 30:1
- Colored pairs pay 10:1
- Mixed pairs pay 5:1
END OF GAME
Any player that gets a perfect, colored, or mixed pair is paid out. Otherwise, the bet is forfeited.

Version 1
Version 1 goes by the plural name Perfect Pairs. It may be found in casinos in Australia, Macau, and London. It pays if the player's first two cards are a pair. The following table shows the specifics. A 'perfect pair' is two identical cards (like two ace of spades). Version 2 goes by the singular name Perfect Pair. It can be found at Internet casinos using live dealer software by Evolution Gaming. Despite the singular title, it pays for one or two Perfect Pairs.
